My place of safety
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” Ps 18:2
Lord, let this be not only my prayer, but my constant meditation and continual rallying cry! This is the hope I am clinging to in this season of trial. This is the promise that keeps me going even when everything around me is screaming at me to quit.
Lord it is you I cling to. It is your grace and goodness which has sustained me all these years. You have never let me down or forgotten the promises you have made. And regardless of my fears, I know that you are not about to start changing now…
Be my place of safety. What a wonderful idea and concept. But it’s so much more than that…it’s a beautiful reality that I get the privilege of living and learning on a daily basis.
