Faith
“And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.” Genesis 15:6
Faith is more than just hearing. Faith is confident belief and hopeful expectation. This is why God counted it as righteousness for Abram.
I want that kind of faith. I want to take God at his word, believing with all my heart that whatever He says is true.
God keeps telling me to trust him and to not stop believing. I need to do that.
Father, help me to relearn faith. Enable me to trust you, to take you at your word and to live in confident expectation that you will come through for us in HUGE ways.
